The challenge

There is a growing importance for companies to engage in corporate social responsibility. A way companies can do this is by investing in tree planting initiatives, but SME's who want to improve their CSR by donating to these initiatives. Considering the various alternative planting initiatives, SME's might be overwhelmed by all the options and not clearly see the benefits of tree planting. We want to bridge the gap between those SME's and the tree planting initiatives. It can take a lot of time and effort to research all alternatives. With our website we hope to make it easier for SME's to find a good match.

The solution

We want to create a website that allows SME to compare the features and specifications (prices, locations) of the different tree planting initiatives to make sure they can make a choice that is best suited to their wants and needs. Next to that the website will give a comprehensive explanation about the benefits of donating to tree planting initiatives. You can think about: Improving CSR, combatting climate change, creating employment in third-world countries and tax-deductibility of gifts to NGO's.and wants.
